How to Connect LinkedIn to Claude (and Ask It for Warm Intros)

Claude can't read LinkedIn on its own. But what most people searching for a Claude LinkedIn integration actually want isn't Claude scrolling profiles. It's Claude answering questions like "who can introduce me to someone at Stripe?"

That part you can have today. Setup takes about two minutes.

Why there's no direct integration

LinkedIn's official API gives third-party apps almost no access to your connection data, and there's no LinkedIn connector in Claude's directory. The way through is your network graph: Draftboard maps who you know and who they know, scores every relationship 0 to 100 with the reason behind the score, and serves that data to Claude. Claude never touches LinkedIn. It queries data Draftboard already mapped.

What you need

2. Claude, on the web (claude.ai) or in the desktop app.

Connect Claude to your network

1. Sign in to Draftboard in your browser and stay signed in.
2. In Claude, open Settings → Connectors → Add → Add custom connector.
3. Paste the server address and click Add: `https://mcp.draftboard.com`
4. Approve the connection when your browser opens.

That's it. No API key to create, nothing to install.

Your first prompt

Try: "Use Draftboard to find warm introduction paths to [company]."

Once you've seen one result, the rest follows naturally:

• "Who's my warmest path to [person]? Why is it strong?"
• "Does anyone on my team know [person]?"
• "Add these 20 prospects as targets and start mapping."
• "Which intros should I ask for this week?"
• "Mark my intro request to [person] as completed."

The connector reads and writes, so Claude can manage your intro pipeline, not just look things up.

Two expectations to set

Mapping takes time. Draftboard maps your network in real time at a deliberately careful pace. A fresh account with a big target list takes a day or two to fill in. Ask Claude to check back.

Every path comes with receipts. You don't get "you have 12 mutual connections." You get "Sarah worked with him at McKinsey for three years, ending two years ago," so you know which ask is worth making.
