To become a Scout, you only need the willingness to help others and a desire to earn referral payouts. Being a Scout is free and Scouts can participate from anywhere in the world. Signing up on Draftboard's platform is a breeze. With just a few clicks, you're ready to start sharing job openings. Once you're in, familiarize yourself with our platform. Be sure to check out all the jobs on the ‘Explore’ tab, and play around with all the filters until you find the jobs that are relevant for your audience. Now once you narrow down a job, you’ll see our simple referral process is done by just creating a link.
If you’re interested in having many jobs at once (as opposed to individual links), this can be done by adding all your interested jobs to your ‘Watchlist’. With the ‘Watchlist’ feature, you only need to share one link and all the jobs you’ve selected will appear. There’s no right or wrong way to do it, it’s purely a Scout’s preference on how they prefer to tackle leveraging their networks.
Draftboard makes it easy to track your referral's progress and earnings, so you can see the impact you're making in real time. Once candidates apply to the positions you referred them to, they’ll appear under “Tracking” where you’ll be able to see all your candidates.
Success as a Scout is all about building and nurturing your network. Keep an eye out for potential candidates and job opportunities, and don't be shy about leveraging social media and attending networking events. The more you engage with your network, the more opportunities you'll uncover.
