Week 5 Fantasy Recap
Dak Prescott’s performance made him a clear blue-chip pick at QB: his 251 yards and 3 touchdowns were supplemented by 37 rushing yards (29.74 points). Still, he wasn’t the top performer at QB as Deshaun Watson followed up last week’s dominance with an outrageous 5 passing touchdowns. Watson threw for 261 yards and added 31 on the ground for a total of 35.54 Draftboard points.
At running back, Todd Gurley, Ameer Abdullah and Carlos Hyde all laid gigantic eggs this past weekend, accumulating less than 100 yards between then. The standouts were Leonard Fournette, who mowed down the Steelers defense for 181 yards and 2 touchdowns (30.9 points) and Melvin Gordon. Gordon had a sensational all-around game with 105 yards on the ground, 58 yards in the air and 2 receiving TDs.
For the second straight week a tight end was the top value pick of the week on Draftboard. The Panthers Ed Dickson had the game of his life with 175 yards on 5 catches.
DeAndre Hopkins showed what a truly efficient wide receiver performance looks like with 3 TDs on just 52 yards receiving (25.2 points). A.J. Green only found the end zone only once but his 189 yards receiving made him the standout pick at his position with 26.4 Draftboard points.
