Week 17 NFL Review

This last Sunday marked the end of the regular season in the NFL. Heading into Sunday, the Bills needed a win and a Ravens loss to secure their first playoff spot in nearly two decades. The Bills won their game against the Dolphins and then got to watch the Bengals upset the Ravens with a 49-yard touchdown pass to Tyler Boyd with less than a minute left. The Bills owe Andy Dalton a thank you card as he threw for 222 yards, three touchdowns, and no interceptions.

In a much more meaningless game, the Cowboys and the Eagles played one of the most unwatchable games in recent NFL history. The game was scoreless for the first three quarters. The fans in Philadelphia were even treated to a missed PAT on the only score of the game, as the Cowboys walked away with a 6-0 victory. Backup quarterback Nate Sudfeld led the Eagles team in fantasy with just over seven and a half points. The Niners kept their win streak going, as they ended the season with a 6-1 record after starting out 0-9. Of course, the win did come against a Rams team that was resting their key players, but Hyde had an impressive two-touchdown game while Jimmy G threw for almost 300 yards. The Browns ended the season with a perfect 0-16 record dropping a close one to the Steelers. JuJu was the leading fantasy scorer in the game as he had 143 yards and a touchdown as well as a 96-yard kick return. But, more impressive than the winless season is the fact that Hugh Jackson (now 1-31 with the Browns) is somehow going to keep his job.
