Week 16 NFL Preview
Week 16 of the NFL season is upon us, and so far the AFC East and North as well as the NFC East and North have been clinched. The Jaguars have a secured their first playoff berth since 2007 and look to lock up their division with a win this week. The Chiefs, Eagles, and Rams are all on the cusp of clinching their respective divisions with wins this week. The Chargers, Lions, Cowboys, Seahawks, Raiders, and Dolphins are all holding onto hope but need to win to have a hope at the playoffs. The biggest game this week comes out of the NFC South as the Falcons and Saints match up in the midst of a very tight playoff race.
The Steelers lost a heartbreaker last week to the Patriots and also lost their star receiver Antonio Brown in the process. Brown is out this week at least and could miss more time with his calf injury. This comes in a week where the Steelers play a generous Texans defense so look for Juju or Bryant to have possible big games. After coming off a monster week 15 Gurley heads to Tennessee to play a tough Titans defense. Gurley has only failed to reach double digits once this year and has six touchdowns in the last two games, so look for him to keep the wheels rolling as the Rams look to lock up the NFC West. After missing last week, Fournette draws an easy matchup against the Niners. And of course, Elliot is coming off of his six-game suspension this week in a must-win game against the Seahawks. Elliot looked good in his first eight games this season, we will see if he can pick up where he left off.
