Week 14 NFL Review
Week 14 was a critical one for many teams in the playoff race. The Eagles and the Steelers both clinched their divisions with wins last week. The Eagles did so on a negative note though, losing quarterback Carson Wentz for the rest of the season with an ACL injury. The Vikings and the Patriots missed their shot at clinching a playoff spots as they both came up short in week 14. The Patriots lost a surprising one to the Dolphins thanks to a strong performance from Kenyan Drake. The Chiefs won a pivotal division matchup against the Raiders. Kansas City now shares a spot atop the AFC West with the Chargers who also brought home a win last week.
In an interesting throwaway game last week, the Bills played the Colts in a whiteout blizzard. Due to the weather Lesean McCoy saw a season high 32 touches, and made the most of it with 156 yards and a touchdown. In another throwaway game Jimmy G kept the wheels rolling in San Francisco with a win, moving to 2-0 as a starter with the Niners.
Le’Veon Bell was the top fantasy scorer, punching in three touchdowns. Bell only rushed the ball 13 times but made up for it with nine receptions for 77 yards. Hopkins topped all other receivers last week 11 receptions for 149 yards and two touchdowns. Alvin Kamara posted his first single digit performance since week two thanks to a concussion suffered on the first drive of the game.
