Week 14 NFL Preview

Coming into week 14 no team has clinched a playoff spot. Multiple teams look to clinch their spots this week. The Vikings, Eagles, Patriots and Steelers can do so with one more win. At the heart of this crucial week lies the Rams-Eagles game. The Eagles could have clinched their spot with a win last week but came up short to the Seahawks. The Rams have been a friendly team to run on so look for Ajayi or Clement to see a bigger work load than usual. On the flip side, it will be interesting to see how Gurley and the Rams attack a good Eagles run defense.

Looking around the league, running backs Lesean McCoy and Melvin Gordon, both have very favorable matchups. Lamar Miller and the Texans play host to the Niners on Sunday, in what looks like a great matchup for Miller. However, the Niners did hold off Jordan Howard last week in Chicago so it will be interesting to see if they can repeat that in Houston. After exploding last week with 4 touchdowns, Alex Smith looks to stay hot against a friendly Raider’s pass defense. The Raiders and Chiefs both sit at six and six in a three-way tie in the AFC West. The Chiefs look to end their 4 game skid while the Raiders look to add to their two game winning streak. Antonio Brown is also a key player to look out for. Antonio has 6 touchdowns in the past three games but the Steelers take on a strong Raven's pass defense in an important divisional showdown.
