Week 12 NFL Recap
Week 12’s Sunday night matchup between the Steelers and the Packers turned out to be a big one for fantasy players. The Steelers squeaked past the Packers 31-28 on a last second 53-yard field goal. Antonio Brown hauled in a toe dragging catch with 17 seconds left to put the Steelers in field goal range. That was the cherry on top of another huge game for Brown as he ended the night with 169 yards and two touchdowns in his second straight game with 35 plus fantasy points. Big Ben led all QB’s in fantasy points with 351 passing yards and his second straight game with four touchdowns. On the other side of the ball Jamaal Williams had his best game of the season with 135 total yards and two touchdowns.
After a relatively quiet year, Julio Jones finally had the game we all expect from him as he went off for 253 yards and two touchdowns on 12 receptions. That was Jones’ third career game with 250 reception yards, no other player in history has more than one. Kamara put up a monster game with 87 rushing yards and a rushing touchdown, to go alongside 101 yards through the air and a reception touchdown. Kamara now has four straight games with 20 or more fantasy points. Dez Bryant and Dak Prescott resided on the other end of the fantasy point spectrum this week as the Cowboys dropped their third straight. Dak had 179 passing yards and two interceptions in his third straight game without a passing TD.
