Week 11 NFL Recap
In the big matchup of the week the Vikings proved they are the real deal. After the Rams scored a TD on their first possession, the Vikings shutout the top offense in the league for the remainder of the game. Case Keenum remained the starter even with a healthy Teddy Bridgewater. Keenum was 27-38 for 280 yards and a TD, and as long as the Vikings keep winning expect Keenum to keep starting.
Week 11 turned out to be the week of receivers. Antonio Brown got the week started with a 3 TD performance on Thursday night as the Steelers took care of business against the Titans. Big Ben had his best performance of the season in that game, throwing for 299 yards and 4 TDs with no interceptions. After being dormant for 5 weeks, Keenan Allen reminded us all of the elite receiver he can be, hauling in 12 receptions for 159 yards and two touchdowns in the beat down of the Bills. In Miami, Stills eclipsed 100 yards for the first time this season, as he totaled 180 receiving yards in the losing effort to the Bucs.
On the ground we saw the New Orleans duo Mark Ingram and Alvin Kamara put up the second and third best numbers for RBs, as the Saints marched to their 8th straight win. Latavius looks like he is becoming the top back in Minnesota as he rushed for 95 yards and 2 touchdowns. Kareem Hunt continues the struggle as he has now gone seven straight games without a touchdown, and three straight games with single digit fantasy numbers.
And of course I have to mention it. Nathan Peterman was in the holiday spirit early this year, as he couldn’t stop giving away gifts. Peterman was benched after throwing 5 picks in the first half of his first career start.
