NFL Playoff Preview
The regular season is officially over and the playoffs start this Saturday. The Chargers, Seahawks, and Ravens were all left on the outside looking in after week 17. The biggest news from this past week came from the Bills who squeaked in for their first playoff appearance in 17 years. Buffalo will be taking on the Jaguars, who also snapped a long playoff drought this year, on Sunday morning. This matchup bodes well for Fournette as the Bills have had trouble against the run all year long. The Panthers face off against the Saints in the Sunday afternoon game. Two of the Panthers five losses this season have come from the Saints and both were double-digit losses. Michael Thomas, Ted Ginn and the rest of the Saints receiving core will look to take advantage of what has been a soft Panthers secondary.
The Saturday games start off with the Titans in Kansas City. The Chiefs enter the playoffs having won four straight while the Titans have dropped three of their last four. DeMarco Murray is battling an MCL tear and his status for Saturday is still up in the air. If he does miss the game look for Derrick Henry to see a sizable workload. The Falcons play the Rams in Los Angeles for the Saturday night game. Todd Gurley has been absolutely scorching hot, with eight touchdowns in the last three games he played. However, he does have to face a tough Falcons run defense which should be a good test for him and the Rams.
